Our scholarship program is a key component of our mission to provide for the education of students in our area.

Each year, our chapter awards scholarships to extraordinary area high school seniors who are committed to pursuing post-secondary education.  Once awarded, our scholarships are renewable for four years of college, contingent upon the student maintaining a specified G.P.A. and performing community service.

Since 2006, we have awarded 82 scholarships, with a 100% retention rate in the program.  In addition, RMHC-CNI has assisted 32 students in achieving a college diploma.

Our ability to award scholarships to outstanding young adults comes from local fund raising events, corporate and private donations, and canister proceeds from local McDonald’s restaurants.

Applications will be available online at rmhc.org beginning November 11, 2011, with a deadline of January 27, 2012.
