Chicago, where the plains of America's heartland meet the Great Lakes, will be home to the world's largest Ronald McDonald House.  Nestled among four world class hospitals, the House will serve as a haven of comfort, compassion, and hope for families who travel from all parts of the globe to get their children the finest health care treatment.

Reflecting the beauty of the city, the House will rise 14 stories above the street with 86 private rooms and nurturing communal areas to provide a "home away from home" for our guests.  The House will include three common floors including the reception, living, kitchen and dining areas, which will be designed to allow families to relax and rejuvenate.  In addition, we will have 9 rooms in Lurie Children's, which will give parents the opportunity the refresh and replenish, just steps from the NICU.
